  2. Mounting: Peel off the adhesive backing and press the strip firmly onto the surface. If there is no adhesive, use mounting clips or aluminum channels to secure it.
  3. Cutting: You can cut the strip to your desired length, but only at the designated marks (usually indicated by a line or scissors icon). For 12V strips, this is often every 3 LEDs or specified intervals like 6mm.
  4. Connecting:
    • Power: Attach a 12V DC power supply (adapter) to the strip. Match the red wire to positive (+) and the black wire to negative (-).
    • Corners/Joins: Use specialized connectors (L, T, or I-shaped) to navigate corners or join two sections.
